The share extension (the FileCap entry in the iOS share sheet) is part of the app and needs no separate installation.

On servers older than 2026.10 a transfer can still be withdrawn from the app, but the user has to paste the Block ID from the sender notification email.
Account#
The app connects with the portal’s API key, the same key the Outlook add-ins use. Administrators find it in the admin panel under Configuration > Add-ins and apps (see Add-ins and apps) and pass it on through a configuration link or MDM. If API registration required is enabled on the portal, each device additionally registers itself with a code sent by email; see Device registration.
An SMS-capable device is not required: the sender’s mobile number is optional in the app, and SMS verification codes are sent by the FileCap server, not by the phone.
