System requirements#

The FileCap Outlook add-in has the following requirements:

  • Outlook 2016 or higher
  • .NET Framework 4.7.2
  • Visual Studio Tools for Office 4.0 Runtime (VSTO)
  • A valid SSL certificate for the FileCap Server

The installer checks for .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher and the VSTO 4.0 runtime, but does not install them. If either is missing, the installation stops with a message. Install them first, then run the FileCap installer again.

Supported Microsoft Windows versions#

  • Windows 10 or higher
  • Windows Server 2016 or higher
