Update

This screen displays the current FileCap version and whether an update is available. If an update is available, the release notes are also immediately visible here.

There are two ways to update FileCap:

Update#

Click the “Update” button when an update is available to update the FileCap server directly to the most recent version. The update will start immediately after clicking the button.

Plan update#

With the “Plan Update” button, it is possible to schedule an update, so that the most recent version will be installed at the chosen moment.

License

Note: This screen is only visible on an STD installation.

This screen displays the current FileCap license.

There are two options:

Refresh license#

With the Refresh License button, the license can be retrieved again from the FileCap license server. This can be used when the license has been renewed, so that it is applied to the FileCap server.

Note: The FileCap server licenses are automatically refreshed every day at 01:00.

SSL

Automatic SSL configuration	If this checkbox is enabled, the certificate will be requested automatically using Let’s Encrypt.
SSL certificate (PFX/P12)	Select the PFX or P12 file that contains the certificate. Note: the PFX/P12 must contain at least the following: - The certificate - CA and intermediate certificates - Private key If one of the above components is missing, importing the certificate will fail.
Password	Enter the password of the PFX/P12 here so that it can be installed

Backups

Note: This option is only available as an MSP or STD admin.

If an MSP license is used, a portal must first be selected under “Select a portal” for which the backup should be made.

Create backup#

There are several options for creating a backup:


Backup config	Back up only the configuration of the FileCap server
Backup data	Back up only the files of the FileCap server
Backup config + data	Back up the configuration and the files of the FileCap server
Exclude admin accounts from backup	If this is enabled, admin accounts will not be backed up. Note: Only available for STD installations.
Protect backup file with a password	The backup is protected with a password

Restore backup#

This option can be used to restore a backup.
