Verification options

SMS Access code	Enables SMS as a verification method, provided by FileCap in the SaaS platform.
E-mail access code	Enables email access code (OTP) as a verification method.
Password	Enable this option to activate the Password verification method.
Company password	Enable this option to activate the “Company password” verification method. Note: To use this option, passwords must be present under the “Company passwords” menu option.
No verification	Enable this option to activate the “No verification” verification method. Note: Anyone with a link to the message can open it without additional verification.
Default verification method	Select the verification method that is selected by default for a new transfer.
Enable second verification method	If this option is enabled, it is possible to select a second additional verification method. (For example, Email access code + SMS)
Default second verification method	Select the verification method that is selected by default as the second verification method for a new transfer.
Enable password strength requirements	If this option is enabled, the password strength can be configured. It is possible to define: minimum length, minimum number of letters, minimum number of uppercase letters, minimum number of digits, minimum number of special characters.

SMS verification

Enable SMS verification	If this option is enabled, it becomes possible to configure an SMS provider and use the SMS capabilities within FileCap
SMS Provider	Select an SMS provider here; currently four are supported: Twilio, Messagebird, CM Telecom, Esendex. With the providers Twilio and Messagebird, we use their functionality to validate local phone numbers (without +country code) so that the format is correct. The other providers do not support this functionality. Beware: this option is only available to On-Prem portals as SaaS comes pre-configured.
Sender address	The name that is visible to the recipient as the sender of the SMS. Note: This name may be a maximum of 11 characters long. This is a limit for all SMS providers. Beware: this option is only available to On-Prem portals as SaaS comes pre-configured.
Default country prefix	Select the default country code that will be used if the user has not specified a country code. Example: If “Netherlands (+31)” is selected, the first digit will be replaced by the country code.
Provider specific settings	The remaining fields are provider-specific. To obtain this information, see the website of the chosen SMS provider. Beware: this option is only available to On-Prem portals as SaaS comes pre-configured.

Once the settings have been saved, they can be tested by entering a mobile phone number and clicking “Send test token”.

Company passwords

With the “Company password” feature, an agreed password can be used with certain domains. To do this, click “New”, enter an email domain (for example, klant.nl), and specify a password. Then, for a transfer with recipients ending in @klant.nl, the “Company password” option can be selected to automatically use this password for the transfer.
